The Sales Manager Certification teaches you how to create a sales management cadence that drives momentum and accelerates sales results with your team. 

 

Built on the proven practices of account planning, opportunity reviews, forecasting, and sales coaching, this course was designed with sales managers in mind.  Delivered in an engaging classroom setting, this course is two days with a practical application and one follow-on coaching session using the frameworks and tools provided.

  • The 9 decisions of an effective sales strategy.

  • The impact of culture on results.

  • Creating a high-performance sales culture.

  • The 13-week cadence of sales management execution.
     

MODULE: Getting the Number Consistently

  • Reverse engineering the numbers.

  • Lead and lag metrics that matter.

  • The performance enablement pyramid.

  • The benefits of critical questioning.

  • Forecast, pipeline and opportunity management and review.

  • Sales coaching basics.

MODULE: Getting Traction and Driving Change

  • Building a strategic sales plan.

  • Extreme prioritization and planning.

  • Linking strategy, culture, and execution.

  • Building out a communication plan, accountability matrix, and appropriate cadence.

  • Applying what you learned with your team for consistent and lasting results.

FOLLOW ON: Coaching the Coach Session

  • Within 30 days, attendees receive a coaching session from the Growth Matters coach.

  • The purpose of the session is to follow up on the application of tools and frameworks with your team.

Please Note: We use pre-work information gathered prior to class (via a survey) to help each person have the conversations with their team, build a 13-week execution cadence into their calendars and to make sure you are working on the highest leverage activities with each person in your teams (even virtual teams).
